Intesa Sanpaolo Vita and Intesa Sanpaolo Life are in the authorization process with Italian and Irish Supervisory authorities for the cross-border merger by absorption of Intesa Sanpaolo Life, having its registered office in Dublin, with Intesa Sanpaolo Vita. The proposed merger will take effect, after the approvals of the Supervisory authorities on December 1st 2023.
Following the transaction, the Italian company will keep a significant international presence through its own branch in the Irish capital, specializing in the management of unit-linked policies.
The merger will have no impact on the contractual benefits recognized to clients, who will continue to benefit from the rights arising from the contracts underwritten without any limitation.
